HOUSE MUSIC IS A FORM OF ELECTRONIC DANCE MUSIC THAT ORIGINATED IN CHICAGO IN THE EARLY 80’S POPULARIZED BY AFRICAN-AMERICANS, LATINOS AND THE URBAN LGBTQ COMMUNITIES OF AMERICA.

HMBA seeks to pay homage to funk, soul, disco, latin house, rare grooves and all forms of electronic dance music for and by the People.  We wish to shine the light on our pioneers, while giving space to those influenced by house music fusion forms such as Nu disco, Jersey club, Baltimore club, Vogue and Bounce.
